Ordered this ammo to run through my C308. Cases get dented upon ejection, so steel is the way to go. I use Wolf handgun ammo in various guns with good results, and thought i'd try this. Using open sites, I was able to keep all my shots in a 4"x4" square at 100 yards. Ammo was not overly dirty, maybe just a little more than average. Still have 350 or so rounds left, and I will buy more. (Posted on 2/2/2019)

I have now fired over 200 rounds thru my SIG battle rifle with no stoppages or malfunctions. The steel ammo from Wolf is perfect for this rifle. Other brass ammo I tried would regularly jam. Second, you were very fast in delivery and the price was lowest around. Thumbs up. (Posted on 10/22/2018)

I've always leaned more to TulAmmo but I purchased Wolf this time because it was cheaper and I actually like it a little more than TulAmmo. Great ammo, good price, very accurate, and haven't had a problem with it at all. (Posted on 4/17/2016)

I recently fired 260 of these in .308 with my newly acquired FNAR. Not a single misfire, this was a lot better than some cheaper local military surplus stuff we got. (Posted on 5/20/2012)

I'm using Wolf in several calibers, including 5.45, 7.62x39 and x51 and 45ACP. Short of an occasional "flyer", I have had no issues with any. (Posted on 5/19/2012)

Just some advice for those people with a jamming or misfire problem, If you are havine these try cleaning your weapon especially with a wire brush. Sometimes light rust is enough to cause these problems even though you may practice good weapon hygiene some rust may develope. Sometimes a good brushing will do the trick. Have a great day!! GOD BLESS!!! (Posted on 5/1/2012)

I use Wolf ammo in my AR15 so I thought I would buy some for my R25 but it jams almost every time, but you can't beat the price. (Posted on 4/26/2012)

Q: I have a SPA M1A..Will this ammo round be ok to utilize for sport and hunting (Hog)?
Posted On: 3/8/2019 By: VINCENT J LEE
A: Wolf ammo is a great bargain for range and practice use, but I don't recommend it for hunting as it has a full metal jacket bullet that does not expand. Many areas prohibit the use of non-expanding ammo for hunting. Be sure to check your local regulations! I don't want any of our great customers to get in trouble!
Q: Hello is this wolf steel case loaded with a bimetal jacketed bullet? Thanks.
Posted On: 1/23/2015 By: Jwalker
A: Hello!
This Wolf .308 ammunition is loaded with a lead core, bimetal jacketed bullet.
Q: Does this 308 ammo meet 7.62 X 51 NATO standards?
Posted On: 10/21/2011 By: Mark
A: By definition, .308 Win ammo cannot meet 7.62x51 NATO standards. The SAAMI max pressures for each round are different, with .308 Win having a higher max pressure than 7.62x51. However, this ammo will function in a variety of rifles designated by their manufacturer as being compatible with .308 ammo.
