Oops! Owing to a slight misapprehension of the way that gravity works, a few cases of Speer Gold Dot 45 ACP ammo fell about a dozen feet from some pallet racking. The packaging shows some sign of damage, but the ammo inside still works great!

If you can look past this ammo’s somewhat less than sterling packaging, then this is your chance to get a great deal on some of the best self-defense rounds on the market!

This round features its caliber’s classic 230 grain projectile. A Gold Dot bullet is special thanks to Speer’s Uni-Cor process, which electrochemically forms its jacket around its alloyed lead core. The jacket is not only highly concentric and balanced, but also nearly inseparable from its core as the result. Through steel and wall board this bullet will lose virtually none of its weight, and through safety glass it loses only about five percent! That lets it penetrate deeply, even when you’ve got a barrier to defeat.

This round’s bullet is formed via two consecutive die presses, so the rate and width it expands to are highly controlled. A Gold Dot round also features a low friction nickel plated casing that cycles with the utmost efficiency through a semi-automatic, clean burning propellant that delivers a consistent chamber pressure, and a reliable CCI Boxer primer.

Save money thanks to gravity!
