“What in tarnation is an FMJ encapsulated bullet?” you might be saying, slamming you giant fist down on your desk hard enough to startle your nextdoor neighbors. Simple: An FMJ encapsulated is just like any normal full metal jacket, but instead of leaving its lead core exposed at the base it seals it off with the aid of a small brass disc.
“What’s the point?” you might ask. Well, because the bullet’s lead core is inaccessible to hot propellant gasses, it produces virtually zero aerosolized lead throughout ignition. If you want to save time cleaning your firearm – especially its suppressor, which has a lot of surface area across all its baffles – then it’s hard to beat an FMJ encapsulated bullet.
You don’t need a suppressor to fire Winchester’s Super Suppressed 9mm ammo! But if you do have one, then you’ll appreciate how a heavyweight 147 grain bullet’s 990 fps muzzle velocity doesn’t give a suppressor very much noise to suppress in the first place. This clean-shooting ammo is brass-cased, nonmagnetic and reloadable.

Q: Does the 500 Rounds of 9mm Ammo by Winchester Super Suppressed - 147gr FMJ Encapsulated feed without jamming in a Glock Model 34 Gen 4

A: Hello RK! I cannot guarantee any kind of performance out of your personal G34, having neither tested nor seen it. That being said, there is nothing about this ammo that a Glock shouldn't like. I'd confidently buy it for my own.
