Details

This 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge from Hornady’s Critical Duty line uses cutting-edge Hornady technology to achieve extreme barrier-penetrating performance through common urban barriers. Each +P round in this box of 25 carries a 124 grain jacketed hollow point (JHP) Flexlock bullet. Flexlock bullets have a polymer Flex Tip that protects the hollow point and drive expansion on impact. The bullet’s lead core is fastened to the jacket with an Interlock band that keeps them from separating. This promotes weight retention, a key trait of high-penetration bullets. These innovations give the round consistent terminal ballistics through every FBI test barrier.

The Flexlock bullet is held in a reloadable nickel-plated brass case carrying a +P load of low-flash powder. The nickel plating helps the case resist corrosion and helps aid smooth feeding, while the low-flash powder maintains your night vision in dark settings.

IMPORTANT: This is +P ammunition that has been loaded to higher pressures than standard 9mm Luger ammunition. It should only be used in firearms rated for +P or higher pressures. If you need more information, check with your firearm’s manufacturer.
