500 Rounds of .22 WMR Ammo by Sellier & Bellot - 40gr FMJ

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Quantity - 50 rounds per box; 10 boxes
Manufacturer - Sellier & Bellot
Bullet - 40 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ)
Casing - Rimfire primed brass

Developed by Winchester in 1959 as the solution for hunters who wished for a rimfire cartridge accurate at ranges up to 125 yards and with the energy to take down game weighing up to 20 pounds, the 22 WMR’s superior downrange energy still puts it ahead of the more recently introduced 17 HMR in that one important way. Sellier & Bellot’s 22 WMR 40 grain round has a bullet jacketed with a copper-lead alloy for superior penetration performance, as well as a primed brass casing which is soft enough to expand to fill a chamber while still hard enough to resist splitting.

Because the Czech Republic is a contracting state of the Brussels Convention, all of Sellier & Bellot’s civilian ammunition is produced according the standards of the Permanent International Commission for Firearms Testing. Now owned by Magtech, Sellier & Bellot and its affiliate companies rank among the world’s largest producers of ammunition.
