20 Rounds of .308 Win Ammo by Barnes VOR-TX - 130gr TTSX

Out of Stock

Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Barnes
Bullets - 130 grain tipped triple shock x (TTSX)
Casings - Boxer-primed brass

A dedicated game hunting round that can pull double duty as a premium law enforcement round as well. This lighter weight projectile (130 grains) relative to standard .308 Winchester loads still delivers substantial ballistics on target at long ranges due to the heavy engineering and balanced approach of the VOR-TX line.

The polymer tip on this 100% copper projectile keeps the weight light but ensures a high ballistic coefficient (how well the projectile sheds wind) at long ranges, meaning you can reach out further, and hit hard with a lighter weight bullet and achieve the same results. This is a grooved bullet, offering lower pressures in the throat and bore, with enhanced contact with the rifling profile of the barrel, offering incredible accuracy and reduced fouling.

The .308 Winchester ammo offered by Barnes in the VOR-TX line utilizes a TTSX (Tipped Triple Shock X) projectile that has a great reputation for instant mushrooming; high weight retention and an excellent wound channel, ensuring quick accurate kills. This cartridge delivers 3125 FPS and 2818 Ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle. It’s more expensive than some other premium rounds but it has a hand quality check on each cartridge among other many perks that justify the cost easily.
