The Core-Lokt is hardly obsolete. It is a soft point that has conquered more American game than nearly any other name brand bullet. But that’s not to say the Core-Lokt can’t be improved upon. Case in point: Remington’s Core-Lokt Tipped!

This 30-06 Springfield hunting cartridge features the 150 grain Core-Lokt Tipped projectile. It is the lightest bullet available on a Core-Lokt Tipped series 30-06 round, and accordingly exhibits a faster muzzle velocity and flatter trajectory at close range. But you’re not limited to a couple hundred yards when you bring this ammo out into the field. The Core-Lokt Tipped’s streamlined profile and awesome rotational stability deliver match grade accuracy, and also ensure that the bullet conserves at least 1,000 ft lbs of whitetail-thumping energy up to ranges of 600 yards.

The Core-Lokt Tipped still has the Core-Lokt’s signature locked-together jacket and core. The two components resist separating as they retain momentum and penetrate deeply together. Once the tip meets with resistance, it violently ruptures the tapered jacket while splaying the dense lead core outward. Devastating terminal ballistics with every shot, to be sure!

Remington’s ammo is American-made, and it’s backed up by the high-grade polished brass cases, sensitive primers and low-residue powder that’ll make any hunt a smashing success.
