Whether you use it to make the Statue of Liberty, the roof of the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac in Montréal, or a bullet like Barnes’ TSX, copper is going to make something beautiful. Let’s focus on just that third thing for the purposes of this product description.

This 5.56x45 cartridge features an all copper 62 grain TSX projectile. Its monolithic composition makes it at once very tough and able to prevent core/jacket separation so that it may penetrate deeply. Still, the TSX is not so tough that it can’t begin to mushroom within a couple inches of its point of entry. As the hollow point bullet quickly expands up to double its original diameter, it creates four cutting petals which slice deep and hard. Put a TSX in something you’d like to kill, and it is going to do the job.

But what about accuracy? That the TSX offers in spades as well. This bullet’s boat tail, pressure relieving grooves, and long, sleek profile all come together to create only very little drag in flight, giving it the ability to seek out its target like a superlative hunting bullet out to have. Barnes accompanies the TSX with the brass casing, propellant, and primer that their most popular hunting bullet had ought to have. You’ll love this round however you hunt, wherever you hunt.
