A: Hello Dan! Sellier & Bellot loads this ammo according to C.I.P. specs. If I ask them for this round's chamber pressure, they would only assure me that it is lower than 58,740 psi. The M1 Garand should not fire 30-06 with chamber pressure higher than 50,000 psi, which means this ammo is capable of damaging yours. I exclusively recommend 30-06 for an M1 Garand so long as the manufacturer loads it for that specific rifle.
