Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Remington Arms Company
Bullet - 180 grain Core-Lokt Ultra Bonded Pointed Soft Point (PSP)
Casing - Boxer-primed brass

The original hunting round for big game that had so much innovation attached to its release, is now better than ever. The Core-Lokt line of projectiles and the Remington Premier Hunting 30-06 ammunition is more advanced than your standard hunting round for .30-06 Springfield and offers a price that is more than competitive. One of the most versatile rounds ever made, this is a strategically designed big game round that has few equals from a performance or a build quality perspective. You are truly leveraging all of the Remington brand’s more than 200 year history of ammunition production.

This is the .30-06 Springfield Premier Core-Lokt Ammunition offering which has some improvements over the original but is every bit as respected for its grain weight retention; energy delivery; lack of jacket separation and excellent ballistic performance. The brass casing is Boxer primed which makes the premium brass cartridges able to easily be reused by hand loaders. The static performance numbers are as follows: 2700 feet per second velocity and 2913 ft. lbs. of energy delivery at the muzzle exit.

The premium spitzer profile on the pointed soft point projectile enhances long range trajectory and gives a wind shedding slant to the projectile.
