Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Hornady
Bullet - 150 grain Super Shock Tip (SST)
Casing - Boxer-primed brass

It doesn't get much better than Hornady's SST bullet. Designed with hunting in mind, the SST (Super Shock Tip) expands quickly and reliably to deliver tremendous shock on impact. Each bullet features a polymer tip that drives into the lead core upon impact, creating controlled expansion and high weight retention every time. The bullet also features a boat tail shape which helps to improve accuracy and trajectory at long distances. Basically, this bullet has every thing you could ever want from a hunting round.

The 150 grain bullet leaves the muzzle at a velocity of approximately 2820 feet per second with muzzle energy of 2648 foot pounds. These ballistics make it effective for hunting medium and large game. Hornady has been making some of the best hunting ammo around for many years, so pick up a box of this .308 ammo by Hornady and you won't be disappointed!
