Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Corbon
Bullets - 185 grain solid copper hollow point (SCHP)
Casings - boxer-primed brass

This is a +P .45 ACP round by Cor-Bon DPX, which offers some startlingly fast, hard hitting .45 ammunition for use in the strongest .45 Auto pistols and carbines. This is a 1075 feet per second velocity load that offers a hefty 475 ft. lbs. of energy at the muzzle too. This is a potential game changer for many who desire to carry the .45 ACP in their duty or personal defense weapon.

NOTE: This is a +P round, which features an overpressure loading of powder. The round is only suitable in guns that have the strength necessary at the chamber and breech to contain the over pressure load. Please verify that your firearm can handle the +P round in the .45ACP/Auto before you choose this ammunition.

This is not your grandad’s hardball load. It’s a purpose built concealed carry and personal protection powerhouse of a round that is made to a specification that far exceeds normal loads. The CorBon company had been one family owned for its entire lifespan up until Q4 2017, when it was sold to new owners who were basically newcomers to the industry. The technology and product line however have been retained, and the future looks promising for the brand as they start to come back online at their production facility in Sturgis, South Dakota.
