Everyone knows and loves Magtech! Even shooters who’ve never heard of it before know that the Brazilian company’s name stands first-rate target ammunition. Call it intuition, if you like!
It doesn’t take decades of book learning to know what this 50 BMG cartridge stands for, either. It’s a long-range champ! Not loaded with an exquisitely fancy A-MAX or anything like that, but a plain old M33 spec full metal jacket which gets the job ever so truly done. That FMJ has got steel in it, although we strongly doubt you’ve got any interest in firing it at one of the indoor ranges which bans magnetic ammo.
This isn’t moldy old military surplus that was retrieved from a bunker in the middle of the Amazon rain forest. It was made recently in one of Magtech’s big factories, and has noncorrosive explosives and new brass cases all around. Those cases are new, mind you. Their shoulders are gray, but that’s just the telltale sign of brass that’s been properly heat treated.
