Remington’s Core-Lokt has remained one of the most popular hunting bullets for decades. Remington has only improved their classic bullet’s performance by adding a polymer tip to it!

This 30-06 cartridge is loaded with a 150 grain polymer tipped bullet. It is designed to deliver match-grade accuracy, as its weight is distributed toward its base to improve in-flight stability, and its green polymer tip creates a sharp, aerodynamic meplat. A 0.415 ballistic coefficient projectile also retains more momentum downrange. This round reaches 500 yards with over 1,200 ft lbs of energy – more than enough power to drop any whitetail in the country.

The Core-Lokt Tipped bullet initiates massive terminal expansion throughout the 30-06’s effective range. The polymer tip transfers all of the bullet's impact energy to the base of the nose cavity shaft, at which instant the bullet rapidly increases in diameter. And because this bullet’s jacket pinches into its core, the two are locked together to promote high weight retention and deep penetration depth.

Remington loads their match-grade hunting rounds with premium propellant, their own best primers, and fine polished brass cases.

A: Thanks for reaching out Tom! I don't expect this ammo would damage an M1 Garand. That said, I do not recommend 30-06 for an M1 Garand unless it is expressly loaded to that rifle's exact specifications. I refuse to take any chances when it comes to our customers' antiques!
