Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Hornady Superformance
Bullet - 150 grain Super Shock Tip (SST)
Casing - Boxer-primed brass

An ultra-premium, highly accurate 30-06 cartridge offering from the Hornady Superformance line that offers a midrange bullet grain weight in an impeccably built load that offers a high end harmony of performance metrics in a good looking package. The 150 grain projectile is from the SST line from Hornady and offers high retention of weight with a polymer tip that enhances wind deflection; ballistic coefficient, accuracy and deformation. The controlled and uniform deformation of this round is excellent.

Superior performance is clear by the numbers but more so by the implementation of the round in the given circumstances. It flat out delivers the type of performance that made Hornady famous over the years. 3080 feet per second at the barrel velocity and 3159 ft. lbs. of energy transfers to the zero at 200 yards with a 2627 feet per second speed and 2298 pound feet of energy delivered. This is a substantially powerful round for a 200 yard zero.

Stack that performance into a virgin brass case with a Boxer primer that is easily reloadable and add clean burning powder that leaves next to no residue, as well as a quality control set the likes of which, few manufacturers can beat, and Hornady has created another deer season winner.
