Ammo Overview

Quantity - 20 rounds per box
Manufacturer - Winchester Ballistic Silvertip
Bullets - 180 grain polymer tip (PT)
Casings - Boxer-primed nickel-plated brass

Capable of taking down some of the largest game in North America, this is a premium hunting ammo for the .30-06 when the goal is versatility and stopping power. Winchester claims it to be suitable for Deer Elk and Black Bear, and that may be a conservative estimate of its capabilities. The 180 grain polymer tipped Ballistic Silvertip projectile offers heavy on target performance and all the value added perks in the cartridge that makes this a true premium rifle round for hunters.

A very speedy 2750 feet per second of muzzle velocity for the high grain weight (180 grains) and a substantial 3020 ft. lbs. of energy means that this round can offer extreme take down capability for moderate and long ranges for very large game.

The cartridge isn’t just focused on the projectile though, with a gorgeous nickel plated brass case that offers a high polish for enhanced feeding and extraction in any firearm including semi-autos. The powder is specially selected for a full burn and clean operation; the primer is a premium build quality boxer primer and the cartridge can be reloaded saving you money on brass.
